Location:  Wayland-Cohocton High School (Academy)

Start Date: 09/01/2023

Description:  The School Social Worker is the link between home, school and the community in promoting students' overall academic, personal, and social wellbeing.

Job Qualifications

  • New York State Social Worker certificate

  • New York State Social Worker License

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge and experience pertaining to assessment

  • Skilled at networking and partnering with community based organizations

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill in data-driven, evidence-based practices and interventions

  • Skilled at establishing and maintaining positive working relationships and a supportive learning environment
