Long-Term Substitute for Leave of Absence

Location: Wayland-Cohocton Middle School

Start Date: February 2025–May 5 2025

Description: The long-term substitute will be the link between home, school, and the community in promoting our students’ overall academic, personal, and social wellbeing.

 

Job Qualifications

• • Holds, at a minimum, a provisional certification in New York State as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge and experience pertaining to assessment.
  • Is skilled at networking and partnering with community-based organizations.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill in data driven evidence-based practices and interventions. 
  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, a lifelong commitment to learning, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Is skilled at establishing positive working relationships.
  • Alternatives to the above qualifications may be made as the Superintendent and Board of Education find appropriate.
