Description: The School Counselor designs and delivers school counseling programs that improve student outcomes. They lead, advocate, and collaborate to promote equity and access for all students by connecting their school counseling program to the district’s mission, vision, and school improvement plan. Holds certification in New York State as a School Counselor.
Possess comprehensive knowledge pertaining to the development and implementation of comprehensive school counseling programs.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of data driven intervention.
Demonstrates integrity, honesty, a lifelong commitment to learning, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
Is skilled at establishing positive working relationships.
