Job Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• One year of full-time, paid journey level training or three years, full-time, paid experience in general building maintenance, heavy construction or building trades or a combination of both.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License that must be maintained throughout appointment.
• Successful Fingerprint Clearance Report

Job Description:

The Substitute Building Maintenance Person does work that involves the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment.  A Substitute Building Maintenance Person will perform semi-skilled work under immediate or general supervision.  The work may involve masonry, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, and snow removal.  Does related work as assigned.
