Location: Wayland-Cohocton Middle School
Start Date: ASAP
Description: The Academic Intervention Specialist (AIS) will readily engage in data-directed teacher-to- teacher collaboration with grade level or subject area collaborative teams to identify and implement Tier 3 high- impact, evidence based (educationally researched practices that have proven outcomes of effectiveness) instructional practices rooted in educational research to increase student achievement of essential standards and foundational learning gaps.
- Job Qualifications

New York State Teaching Certificate English Language Arts (grades 5-9),
English Language Arts (grades 7-12) or Literacy (grades 5-12)

Skilled at establishing and maintaining positive working relationships and a supportive learning environment

Successful experience with teacher-to-teacher and teacher-to-student collaboration
